So sorry for the lack of recent posts. Not to make excuses, but I have been super busy as of late, and have let work pile up. Since my last post, I have had the opportunity to work with some pretty amazing clients, travel to some neat places, and witness some beautiful weddings. Here is a sampling of some of my favorites.

This past weekend I was down at the Gulf Shores in Alabama for a Jr. High Family Beach Retreat. I had the job of taking the family photographs on the last day, that would then be printed out and put into frames that the families got to decorate. Since it is the beach, I decided to go more informal. So before I left, I went to the dollar store, bought $7 worth of props and the families had a lot of fun. It just goes to show that you don’t need expensive props to make good photographs, sometimes cheap is better. Unfortunately the weather prevented us from taking them where we wanted, but they still came out and were a lot of fun to take. Check out a few of my favs.

I got the opportunity to photograph Stacey and Caleb yesterday. Today is their 5 year anniversary. Being a fan of lasting marriages, I was thrilled that I got to help them capture this milestone in their marriage. I hope and pray that they have many more happy years together. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

This past weekend I got the opportunity to capture Shannon and Nathan’s wedding. They had an absolutely gorgeous wedding in Sevierville, TN. The pictures are absolutely stunning, and they were great clients to work with. Here is a sample of just a few of my favorites from the day.

It is true, I do more than just engagement and wedding photography. In fact, I love nature and documentary photography. But I also enjoy family portraits. Especially when the family is as awesome as the Click family. I love how Van is sportin those UT colors. Here are just a few from the session.

A few of my favorite pics from Melissa + Steven’s engagement session at Stone Mountain. They are a great couple, a lot of fun to work with, and I wish them the best when they get married in a few months up towards where I’m from the Northeast.

Here is a sample of Tafanie and Cory’s Wedding that I shot in Nashville. They were a great couple to work with, and they had a beautiful wedding in the same church Tafanie’s parents got married in. How cool is that.

A few of my favorite from Claire and Patrick’s engagement photo shoot. Right outside of Asheville, NC at a Young Life Camp called Windy Gap. It was snowing like crazy, but we had fun with it and braved the cold. Looking forward to shooting their wedding in June.

Portrait I took of Ron Hicks, a retired Naval Officer, and Dentist. Also a fellow University of Tennessee Alum!
